GNDE Activities: Involving Regional & National Associations of Education Deans

The Global Network of Deans of Education is led by and facilitates the work of regional and national associations of Deans of Education. One of our first activities as a network is to identify and engage these associations that support their members and offer advice and leadership on a number of educational issues.

As a global network, we will not duplicate the work of regional and national associations. Rather, we hope that we can help these associations to learn from each other and to share their work when it has global implications or when its impact can be shared with others.

Regional and national networks already contributing to the growing discussions of the GNDE:
  • Australian Council of Deans of Education
  • Association of Canadian Deans of Education
  • African Deans of Education Forum
  • American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education
  • Scottish Council of Deans of Education
  • Latin American Network of Deans of Education
  • UK Universities Council for the Education of Teachers

Individual deans and leaders of Deans of Education networks are invited to enlist via email on the homepage, in order to contribute to the global discussions on schools and Faculties of Education and Agenda 2030.
